Module 3:
Choosing Stabilizers
Students will learn which stabilizer to use with their fabric choice.
Objectives:

Given various types of fabrics to be embroidered, students will be able to list recommended stabilizers for each type of fabric.
Students need to know how to choose the correct stabilizer for type of fabric for the following reasons:

Fabric weight and stabilizer weight are similar for successful embroidery

Step 1:

Step 2:

You will need to play from a device such as a phone or tablet which will require you to download the Kahoot app.

When finished, notate your score indicating the number of questions you answered correctly and the number of points you scored. Save this information until step 4.

Step 3:
Create a "Stabilizers Chart"
Using the "All About Stabilizers" pdf (above - Step 1), make a chart that lists stabilizers in one column and types of fabrics in a second column in a document. This will be your "cheat sheet" when picking stabilizers for use with fabrics to embroider. Use the rubric, at the bottom of Step 4, to help guide you in your design.
Note: Other resources may be used for this project other than the information provided. Be sure to cite or reference where you found your information. Place the citation/reference at the bottom of your document.
For your citation, use APA format.

Evaluation
After you have completed your chart from step 3, save the document as a pdf. In an email, send your instructor the following information:
